Transport Information
Getting to HJIS Yokohama Campus
Japan is well known for its excellent public transportation system. Three major train lines provide reliable and convenient access to HJIS from Kikuna (Toyoko Line), Oguchi (Yokohama Line) and Tsurumi (JR Keihin Tohoku line) stations. Horizon Japan International School is located between Kikuna, Oguchi and Tsurumi stations and is convenient access to public bus.
By Train
From Kikuna Station East Exit (Toyoko Line/Yokohama Line)
菊名駅東口（横浜線/東横線）

Take the East Exit, and go down the stairs to the street below. Turn left and walk for about 200 meters. Cross over the road to the opposite side. In front of the Yokohama Bank （横浜銀行） you will see the bus stop named "Kikuna eki mae"（菊名駅前 ）
Take bus No. 41, going to "Tsurumi Eki Nishi Guchi." （鶴見駅西口）
Get off the bus at "Hozoin mae"（宝蔵院前）bus stop opposite a small police box.
Continue to walk along the main road for about 80 meters and the Horizon Japan International School is on your right.
Please note: If you are coming to the Early Learning Centre get off at the "Shirahata"（白幡） bus stop (the next stop), opposite Create Drug Store you will see a narrow side road to the right. There is a flower shop on the left hand side. Walk along this road for about 5 minutes and continue up the steep hill. HJIS Early Learning Center is on your right.

From Shinyokohama Station (Yokohama Line/Yokohama Subway Line) 新横浜駅（横浜線/横浜地下鉄）
Take bus No. 41 going to "Tsurumi Eki Nishi Guchi"（鶴見駅西口）
Get off the bus at "Hozoin mae"（宝蔵院前）bus stop opposite a small police box.
Continue to walk along the main road for about 80 meters and the Horizon Japan International School is on your right.
Please note: If you are coming to the Early Learning Centre get off at the "Shirahata"（白幡） bus stop (the next stop), opposite Create Drug Store you will see a narrow side road to the right. From Tsurumi Station West Exit (JR Keihin Tohoku Line)
鶴見駅西口（京浜東北線）
Take bus No. 41 going to "Shinyokohama Eki" (新横浜駅) or "Kawamukochou" (川向町) or bus No. 38 to "Oguchi Eki"（大口駅）
Get off the bus at "Hozoin mae" （宝蔵院前）bus stop opposite a small police box.
Walk back along the main road for about 80 meters and the Horizon Japan International School is on your right.
Please note: If you are coming to the English Preschool get off at the "Shirahata"（白幡） bus stop (the next stop), opposite Create Drug Store you will see a narrow side road to the right. There is a flower shop on the left hand side. Walk along this road for about 5 minutes and continue up the steep hill. HJIS Early Learning Center is on your right.

By Car
From Tokyoyou will pass the Tsurumi crossing and go straight for Yokohama. On the left you will see a big home center called Shimachu. It is forbidden to turn right onto the Kishiya crossing but go straight on and turn left at the Seven-Eleven Convenience Store. Turn left once more and you will come to Kishiya crossing. Drive straight for about 3 minutes and you will see a drug store on your right hand side after another minute Horizon is on your left.
From YokohamaYokohama you will pass the JR Higashi Kanagawa station and go straight for Kawasaki. Turn left at Kishiya crossing and drive straight for about 3 minutes and you will see a drug store on your right hand side after another minute Horizon is on your left.
Please note: If you are coming to the HJIS Early Learning Centre; then opposite the drug store turn left and you will go up a hill for 1 minute. Our Early Learning Centre is at the top of the hill on your right.
